This Friday September the 30th, IIT Academy students are honoring the Indigenous Community for Truth and Reconciliation Day. Students are encouraged to wear an orange article of clothing or an orange accessory with their school uniform. Students will spend part of the day learning about the many injustices that were faced, and also to reflect on the many contributions our fellow Indigenous Canadians made. We are looking forward to join in support of the cause “Every Child Matters.”
