School will be cancelled due to one of the following circumstances:

• Prolonged loss of power to the building. Toronto Hydro will be consulted and if advised that it will be a prolonged outage.
• Weather: The IIT Academy will follow TDSB schools in the area. Parents are asked to check the news on TV and radio regarding closures.
• Advanced notification of an emergency in the vicinity

Parents will be notified via:

• Schoolwide email notification
• Notification on IIT Academy website and social media
