All textbooks are issued to students without charge, by the IIT Academy.

Out of respect for the value of knowledge, the school encourages the students to treat the textbooks gently and with respect, keeping in mind that some of these textbooks will be used for subsequent grades. 

If a teacher grants permission to sign the textbook out for a specific student (travel etc.) then a $50 refundable deposit must be made to the office and will be returned once the book is returned in the same condition.
