The IIT Academy Student Council will be an important part of student life of the school. The governing group is the main coordinating body for student events and serves as the liaison between students, teachers and the Principal.

Academy “Student Activity Council” (SAC) members represent IIT and are role models for the student body. Any behavior and/or attendance patterns deemed inappropriate by the staff and administrators will result in dismissal from SAC.

The administrator and staff have final say over all decisions and events. The council will be selected by shura from grades 5-8. The members will include:

• Treasurer
• Event Coordinator
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Staff representative
• Student Representative per grade
